Don asked about the state of BASS.  I suppose I should upgrade the frameworks to their current versions.  I could also look at integrating Quartz with Terracotta and make the scheduler enterprise quality.  Looked at Spring MVC instead.  Nice clean API.  Fairly simple to set up.  The view stuff can be isolated, for the most part, to a presentation person because of the way the framework is set up.  The business logic goes into the Controllers.  TIP: don't let IDEA grab libraries for you when setting up a new project.  I let it grab Spring 3.0.0 libs and it didn't get everything.  Took me 30 minutes to finally figure out what was happening. Ben upgraded the BASS libraries.
